Just as the title says, I plan to reactivate my account and upload some current drawings. My mom is debating buying a scanner, so I will upload something soon! I'm going to go see Breaking Dawn with my sister and her friend, so bye!

So, we had a snowday today. We got like, 10 inches, so I was expecting it. Okay, so it was expected, and I was fine with it. But tomorrow we have a snowday, too, I just found out, which totally kinda pissed me off. I have a band concert on Wednesday, so we're not going to have any time to practice...and we already suck. Our band sounds like dying chickens. The roads aren't even that bad. So I guess I'll be drawing tomorrow again! Which, of course, would beat doing math any day, but still.
(The computer said I spelt 'math' wrong? WTF???)

My printer, whenever I try to print out a reference or anything, the picture comes out pitch black. I asked my dad how to fix it, but he said he 'doesn't know'. My friend, Nicki, insists that I draw her a picture of a giraffe. But I can't really do that if I don't have a reference, can I? Luckily I have a stuffed-animal giraffe, so I can whip out some good ol' still-life. I don't know when I'll get this fixed. Sorry.

On a different note, tomorrow is Hopeless Singles Recognition Day! Otherwise known as Valentine's Day. I'm not really to that age where I get all lovey-dovey, except for *coucough* a guy named Chris who I've been chasing hopelessly for 7 years now. Valentine's Day is always such a disappointment. If you can't tell by now, I'm kinda a hopeless romantic. Every year, I have my hopes up to find a note or rose on my locker from Chris, or really anyone else, just so I feel somewhat loved. Never once has that ever happened. So, Singles, don't get your hopes up. Not worth it.

I just heard Lady Gaga's new song, Born This Way. I thought it was pretty bad-ass, in a cute kinda way. I lurveeeeee Gaga

I don't see why so many people hate still-life. I love it! It's very relaxing, to just stare at something and draw it. I can kinda see why people think it's "boring", but, hey, it's basically the same thing as staring at a reference. Maybe it's just because I only draw realism? I just got done drawing a little stuffed-animal still-life sketch a couple of minutes ago. I'll be sure to upload it!
Of course, it's much different when drawing a PERSON in still life. That's kinda REALLY awkward. I've tried twice; one time drawing my friend Tina, another drawing myself in the mirror. Tina just couldn't sit still! I guess it's kinda hard for 6th graders to sit still anyways...

Sorry I haven't been active for a couple of months. I was just really busy with art and all that. Now that I have gym, which I HATE, I can be more active. In art I had to do a million and one projects that I stayed up till midnight finishing, so I didn't really have time to upload crap. I'll work on that.
